Do we even need to introduce Nino Schurter...? We'll do it anyway: The nine-time cross-country world champion is also a seven-time overall World Cup winner, eight-time Swiss champion and, to top it all off, Nino won the complete set of medals (gold, silver and bronze) at the Olympic Games. Now he is changing sides, partially. He is no longer just an aspirant for daily & overall victories on the track, but also co-initiator of the ÖKK BIKE REVOLUTION. From bikers for bikers - a matter of the heart for Nino. We are incredibly proud to have you as part of our team, Nino.
Ralph Näf is THE initiator of the ÖKK BIKE REVOLUTION! Well-connected and with ingenious visions for the future, he brought together a powerful quartet with Nino, René and GFC - with the aim of ushering in a new era and uniting popular sport with racing. "It's time to break new ground. After all, in Switzerland we not only have the strongest riders and the most innovative bike manufacturers, but also the best biking areas in the world," says Ralph Näf.
René is our MTB race series organiser super talent! He has been organising various mountain bike race series since 1995, be it the Wheeler Grand Prix, Allianz Suisse Cup, Swiss Bike Trophy or even the MTB European Championships 2013 in Bern (and many more!). We came across René through his long-standing friendship with Ralph Näf. He was immediately enthusiastic about our project and supports ÖKK BIKE REVOLUTION with his huge know-how in several areas.
Lorenz Luginbühl is not only a member of the management of GFC Sports Management but also co-initiator of ÖKK BIKE REVOLUTION since 2021. Ralph Näf brought the idea of a new mountain bike event and race series to GFC and thus opened doors at one of the leading Swiss sports management agencies. GFC is breaking new ground in marketing, is involved in event conception and forms the interface with the partners. "It is a great pleasure to see how a cool project is brought to life from the idea, how the partners support our vision and put their heart and soul into it," says Lorenz happily.
