The race dates for 2026 are set!

In its fifth season, BIKE REVOLUTION once again brings adrenaline, sport, and passion to Switzerland’s trails. With two stops on the UCI calendar, the racing series will continue to set new standards in 2026, delivering powerful emotions in the segment of the world’s best XCO elite riders, top juniors, and the growing field of amateur mountain biking.

In 2026, the BIKE REVOLUTION event series enters the next round with exciting cross-country mountain bike races, relaxed Gusto Rides, a large bike expo, and a new revolution. With two Hors Catégorie (HC) events in Davos and Huttwil and two rounds of the prestigious Junior World Cup (UCI Junior Series), the series combines top-level competitive sport with accessible formats for amateurs, young talents, and recreational riders.

2026 stops at a glance:

  • Davos: 26. – 28. Juni 2026 (HC / UCI Junior Series)

  • Huttwil: 4. – 6. September 2026 (HC / UCI Junior Series)

Registration for the events will open in February 2026. The organisers also announce that planning for the 2027 event season is in full swing. For the year after next, four stops are expected to be included in the tour calendar, scheduled across Switzerland. Anticipation is already building.

UCI Junior Series – the World Cup for U19 riders

A sporting highlight awaits spectators in the U19 category: at both Davos and Huttwil, one race of the Junior Series – the UCI Junior World Cup – will be held. Numerous promising talents from around the world will be at the start, all aiming to take the next step into the global elite. The integration of the UCI Junior Series underscores the importance of BIKE REVOLUTION as a platform for Switzerland’s up-and-coming athletes.

Bike festival, new side events, and live TV broadcast

Visitors can experience the races up close and enjoy a diverse programme featuring kids’ races, Gusto Tours, the popular Sunday Brunch Ride, an expo area, and a wide range of culinary offerings. Those wishing to get in the saddle themselves will find the Gusto Rides ideal. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore the Davos and Oberaargau regions and enjoy local cuisine during the breaks – without the pressure of timekeeping. The organisers offer routes of varying levels of difficulty.

“We are working diligently on further developing our event formats and look forward to announcing more details on the planned new side events over the course of the winter,” the organisers state shortly before Christmas. They also announce that next year’s Elite Women and Elite Men races will continue to be broadcast live on Blue TV, as well as in an internationally commented livestream on YouTube. “This gives the pros significant reach and allows them to gain visibility one tier below the World Cup. This makes the events even more attractive not only for elite riders but also for young talents,” adds Patrick Kiener, Head of Marketing & Communications for the series.
